Scott graduated from the University of Alberta as a Criminologist in 1991. He was drawn to Forensic Psychiatry and was a group therapist with a sex offender population for 15 years. A lifetime learner, Scott obtained a PhD in Psychotherapy Research from the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta in 2010. Scott joined Covenant Health three years ago and is one the organization’s Mental Health First Aid facilitators, promoting a psychologically safe and supportive workplace.
