Michelle is a licensed practical nurse who has always had a passion for seniors’ care. After a few years of acute care nursing, she was considering a different career path. It was her mother who reminded her to follow her heart and pointed her back to where she started her healthcare career: helping seniors. Michelle is the catalyst behind the Butterfly Project at Villa Marie. It wasn’t long after she started at the site that she heard David Sheard, the founder of Dementia Care Matters, speak. Two years later, the Butterfly Project is thriving at Villa Marie under Michelle’s leadership.
