Melissa is the Occupational Therapist and Team Lead for the Stroke Early Supported Discharge team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose. In 2017, she completed the University of Alberta Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Stroke Rehabilitation which included a final project proposal on determining if Skype-for-Business is an effective means of enhancing Stroke Early Supported Discharge (SESD) services for rural stroke survivors. She has a special interest in enhancing best practice and access to rehabilitation services for rural clients.
