Dr. Konrad Fassbender is an economist and the scientific director of the Covenant Health Palliative Institute. He is also assistant professor in the division of Palliative Care Medicine at the University of Alberta. Dr. Fassbender has PhDs in public health sciences and in economics. He is partnering with Alberta Health Services on the ACP CRIO research program, funded by Alberta Innovates, that strives to engage more Albertans in in advance care planning.
