Karen has 30 years of neonatal nursing experience in various roles and has been an employee of the Grey Nuns Community Hospital since 2007. She is currently a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Women’s & Child Health. Her interest around workplace learning led her to pursue a PhD in Educational Policy Studies with an Adult Education focus that was competed in 2007. She has a passion for research and quality, especially related to Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), Late Preterm Infants and Parent Peer Support.
