A registered nurse for 25 years with 20 years spent in the diabetes world, Joyce has worked at various diabetes clinics in Edmonton. She has also worked as a chronic disease nurse for the Primary Care Network and a medical adjudicator for the federal government. Joyce has had Type 1 diabetes for 38 years, which inspired her to become a diabetes educator to help people be the best that they can be. She has a special interest in people with Type 1 diabetes on the insulin pump and she is a certified insulin pump trainer.
