Michael works in an acute care medical practice at a busy urban hospital and is involved in teaching and some research. He has special interests in neuromodulation, consultation liaison, physician well-being, and adolescent and forensic psychiatry. He also has a special interest in interventional psychiatry and the Grey Nuns Hospital Electroconvulsive Therapy program, and is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta.
