Dr. Lesley Charles obtained her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alberta (U of A). She is a geriatric physician at the Grey Nuns Hospital with the following areas of clinical interest: dementia, delirium and treatment of osteoporosis. She also serves as an Associate Professor at the U of A Department of Family Medicine (Division of Care of the Elderly) with research focused on care of the elderly program, care of the elderly graduates research, decision-making capacity assessment, core competencies, and caregivers.
