Chan Woo has held a number of management positions in the food services industry in the past 12 years, and is currently Hospitality Services Manager for Covenant Health’s Killam, Castor and Trochu sites. He has had a passion for food, people development and entrepreneurship since he was seven years old, when his family operated three restaurants in Malaysia. He believes that food is the most essential ingredient for daily living. 

While attending the University of New Orleans, Chan worked and assisted in the Hurricane Katrina recovery effort. His previous experience includes serving as General Manager with Panda Express Restaurant Group. Before joining Panda Express, Chan spent seven years at Iowa State University, where he served in a management position and held numerous sales records and an excellent customer satisfaction rating for five retail food outlets and a commissary kitchen. Chan holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans and a BBA in marketing and management from Northwood University. He is also an accomplished marathon runner with a personal best time of 2:25:07.
